Description

Your Cottage by the Beach is located in Ludington, Michigan on the Lake Michigan side of the state. The cottage sleeps up to 9 people with two bedrooms on the main floor and a large loft upstairs. These rooms provide 2 Queen beds, 1 double/twin bunk and 2 single twins. It has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and laundry facilities. There is a large common deck with a gas grill. Cable TV is also available. Your cell phone is your phone service with good coverage. Internet is seasonal - Inquire as to availability.

Amenities

The Cottage is just a half block from the Lake Michigan Beach which features (in season) concessions, picnic area, mini-golf, and the newly opened North Breakwater Lighthouse. You can watch the S.S. Badger car-ferry sail in and out of the harbor from the Breakwater where you can witness some of the most awesome sunsets. Downtown Ludington is only a few blocks away. Ludington State Park and Hamlin Lake are just a short 5-minute drive away.

Availability and Cost

Your Cottage by the Beach is open in all seasons. During the summer season (mid-June through Labor Day) there is a one-week minimum usage at commercial rates. (3-night minimum in the fringe summer weeks) Complete maid service is provided during this period. This may be booked through Ludington Property Management at www.myludingtonvacation.com, (888) 844-5956.

However, after Labor Day and up to mid-June, you may use the “Rest & Refresh Program” at the cottage for freewill donations only. Contact Bill Baker below for information. For this program you will need to bring your own linens (towels, sheets, pillows and blankets), and perishables (paper products, soaps, etc.). There is a 10-day maximum stay.

Once your donation arrives, you are “booked” and locked into the schedule.  The Baker family passes on your donation to “Overcome the World, Inc.” a nonprofit organization.
