Patio doors in the dining room lead to a large deck that extends to the entire width of the cottage. Sit and read your book or do some journaling while drinking in the beauty of the panoramic landscape.
With over 300 square feet of deck at the cottage and patio chairs, loungers, muskoka chairs and a barbeque, there is plenty of space to enjoy the sunny weather. You can also climb to the Crows Nest and enjoy one of Lake Huron’s world famous sunsets.

The Location & Amenities
The cottage is located almost in the geometric center of Lake Huron near the tip of the Bruce Peninsula, a 3.5 hour drive in normal conditions from Toronto, and 10 km from the scenic village of Tobermory.
There is a trail at the cottage that leads from the front of the cottage to a public lakeside nature reserve where you can access the water. The shoreline here is a flat limestone rock with gradual entry into the water.
Tobermory is a quaint village where you can stroll through the shops, visit the library, restaurants and the beautiful natural harbor, or take a scenic boat cruise from which you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Also, dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are very popular.
For hikers, naturalists and scuba divers, the area is a dream. A 10-minute drive away, guided tours are available along the Niagara Escarpment, or along the sandy shores of Singing Sands on Lake Huron. Amphitheater programs are available at Cyprus Lake at dusk and are informative and entertaining.
