What the Greater Portland Area Offers

From the Elderberry House, it’s a short walk to quaint shops and restaurants. Our Oasis is two blocks from a large park on the Willamette River. A large rubber raft is available for your use.

There are many destinations in the Portland Metro area--thirty minutes to Downtown Portland or the Woodburn Outlet Mall. Twenty minutes to the NW 23rd area, and the Hawthorne district - popular places to stroll and find good restaurants.

It’s ten minutes to Clackamas Mall, and Bridgeport Village - good theaters and restaurants. Fifteen minutes to Washington Square Mall. Only sixty minutes to Timberline Lodge on the slopes of Mt. Hood; 1.5 hours to Cannon Beach and Seaside.

Eighty minutes to Mt. St. Helen's interpretive center — great footage on the 1980 volcanic eruption.
